Product Description:

Vega is a natural lime based plaster which creates an authentic old world, Toscana-look finish. Depending on desired texture, Vega can be used to achieve either smooth, rough or stone-look textures. Vega’s lime based mineral composition imparts positive water repellency while permitting airborne moisture transpiration.

• Preparation (for one bag)
  • When mixing the Vega plaster, Vega glue should be added to it.
  • Add 1 quart of Vega glue to approximately 2-2.5 gallon of clean water.
• Mixing: Gradually add and mix the ready Vega glue with the Vega plaster powder until paste consistency is achieved. Use a mechanical agitator to mix thoroughly.
• Application: Vega can be used both interior and exterior application. For interior use (on drywall), Vega Primer needs to be applied prior to the Vega plaster application. For exterior use, Vega plaster serves as the finish coat applied on the brown coat.
  Apply the first coat as thin as Vega's grain size in the same manner you would apply regular stucco. Remove excess material, and then float the surface in a circular motion using a plastic trowel. After sufficient drying, (normally overnight) apply the second coat thicker then the first coat. Let it set for a few minutes, then come back and smooth the surface for the first initial pass. Allow the surface to dry approximately 60% moisture content then repeat the previous step until achieving desired texture. Water spray can be used to add moisture to the surface.
• Color: Available in five standard colors, which could be pigmented to achieve any custom color.
• Coverage: 30-50 sq. ft. for two coats
• Container: Available in 30 kg
